Step 2 | Accept Background Check Invitation

After you complete the volunteer application, we will send you a separate email invitation to complete your background check. Please accept the invitation and follow the instructions to submit the requested information. Once your background check has been completed and cleared, and you’ve followed the next 2 steps, you will be able to serve with our kids.

Step 3 | Review & Acknowledge the Safe Sanctuary Policy

Creating a safe and secure environment for every child is a responsibility we all share. Our Safe Sanctuary Policy outlines the standards, procedures, and best practices that help protect children, volunteers, and our church.

Please take a few moments to carefully read the Safe Sanctuary Policy in its entirety. Once you have finished reading it, complete and sign the accompanying acknowledgment form to confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow these guidelines while serving in Freedom City Kids.

Read and sign our Character and Conduct Pledge

Serving in Freedom City Kids is more than filling a role, it is an opportunity to represent Christ and care for the next generation. Our Character and Conduct Pledge outlines the attitudes, values, and expectations we ask every volunteer to uphold as they serve.

Please take a few moments to read the pledge carefully. Once you have reviewed it, sign it to indicate that you understand and are committed to serving in accordance with these expectations.
