Serve with Freedom Kids
We’re so glad you’re here! Follow the steps below to complete the onboarding process and get ready to serve.
Step 1 | Volunteer Application
Please complete the application below so we can get to know you, learn about your experience, and determine the best fit for you within Freedom Kids. All volunteers must complete the application before serving.
Step 2 | Background Check
All Freedom Kids volunteers age 18 and older are required to complete a background check before serving. After submitting your Volunteer Application, you will receive an email from Checkr with an invitation to complete the background check. Please follow the link in the email to get started.
Step 3 | Safe Sanctuary Policy
Creating a safe and secure environment for every child is a responsibility we all share. Our Safe Sanctuary Policy outlines the standards, procedures, and best practices that help protect children, volunteers, and our church.
Please read the Safe Sanctuary Policy in its entirety, then complete and sign the accompanying acknowledgment form confirming that you understand and agree to follow these guidelines while serving in Freedom City Kids.
Step 4 | Character & Conduct Pledge
Serving in Freedom City Kids is more than filling a role, it is an opportunity to represent Christ and care for the next generation. Our Character and Conduct Pledge outlines the attitudes, values, and expectations we ask every volunteer to uphold as they serve.
Please take a few moments to read the pledge carefully. Once you have reviewed it, sign it to indicate that you understand and are committed to serving in accordance with these expectations.
Step 5 | Meet with Kids Coordinator
After completing the steps above, notify the Freedom Kids Coordinator, and we’ll schedule a time for a quick walkthrough of our curriculum, classrooms, and Sunday morning flow. You’ll learn what to expect, where to find everything you need, and how we work together to create a great experience for every child and family.
